Bon Ton

Yesterday, I drove to Midlothian and ate at a yummy new place (to me) called Campuzano's.  I got a shrimp fajita salad and it was so yummy!  I can't wait to go back and take John.  I had so much fun and time flew by and a lunch turned into four hours of fun.

Then off to Bon Ton in Forreston.  It is a vintage store with the funniest people, Barbara and Johnny.   Johnny was a drummer and Barbara was a singer and piano player and now they have a store full of vintage goodies.  So much fun!

I have a friend who needs this tea set.  I sent her the photo.

I seem to have a hat fetish.  But I didn't buy it.

Swap charm bracelet

I know you are tired of hearing about Paper Cowgirl....but you just have to see my charm bracelet.  I had to provide my own bracelet and 24 charms (1 real charm and 1 filler charm with lobster clasp) and then we all swapped.  It was like Christmas morning!  Mine are the number tiles and the paper clips with sayings.  And so now it is my favorite thing and all of the materials to participate cost me $20.  You can't beat that!

Dallas in a Day

I went to Dallas with a friend and we just wandered into antique stores and saw the most inspiring items....



I love these but not a $200 each.



This was titled, "five heads."  Can you just imagine them with hats and sun glasses on?

Should have bought the hat.  I wrote down the name and maker but can't find it on the Internet.
  I think I have another trip to Dallas to get it.
