Merry Christmas!

Found this card at a flea market in Fort Worth and scanned it in.  I can't wait to use it in a project but for now... A very Merry Vintage Christmas to ya'll and to all a good night.

Three Wise Women

THREE WISE WOMEN WOULD HAVE...

asked for directions,

arrived on time,

helped deliver the baby,

cleaned the stable,

made a casserole,

brought practical gifts,

and there would have been

PEACE ON EARTH.

Christmas Cactus

About 11 years ago, a student named Haley gave me this cactus.  I put it in my window and now it blooms.  Just like her.

I bought the saying on the wall but have yet to put it on the wall.  Maybe in 2011.

It sounded like a good idea...

Okay....it sounded like a good idea. 

John and I volunteered and got trained to man the police department watch tower.  I got the radio and the key from the police station.  I got into the watch tower.  I did my hour long shift.  AND then I found out I was locked in the tower.  I had to call for assistance and two police cars came to unlock me.  I quickly and quietly removed my name from the volunteer list.

I sold my art...

I sold my first art pieces. 

I donated them to GONPH for a fundraiser for the life shelter and they raised $75. 

I am so proud.
