This woman is cool.  I mean she rocks.  She has such great energy.  I am eager to take another class from her...Orly Alveri

Teesha

The World Famous Teesha.  She is so amazing.  We brought self portraits and made paper dolls.  Then we used pan pastels to color the background.  Did I mention how amazing she is?

Tracy

Our next class was with Tracy Moore.  He spoke about social journal and how to be brave and journal in public. 

Jesse Reno

Wild man.  Let go.  Picture with in a picture.  Jesse had us use a fan brush to paint mountains, streams, and clouds.  He then had us pound dots and draw people, animals, ets.  Then cover the majority of the painting with black or white.  

DeMeng

I had been wanting to attend his assemblage classes for a long time.  However, this was a painting class.  But I would have taken any class by him.  He started off talking about one of the lowest times in his life which was right after art school.  He was in his car and saw trees coming alive.  And this is when he said that we will find the monsters within us...

Artfest Rising 2016

I flew to Seattle- Tacoma for the 2016 Artfest Rising held at Ft. Warden State Park.  Teachers: Michael de Meng, Jesse Reno, Tracy Moore, Teesha Moore, Orly Alveri, and Andrea Matus de Meng. I got selfies with all but Teesha.
